Release notes for ircu2.10.01

This release is a beta release - in that it is not yet know how stable it is. Please compile with -g and give coder-com feedback asap.

This release has a lot of new features and changes, it contains over 50 patches. Here are the most important changes:

• linux-kernel-style configuration: No more editing of Makefile or config.h ! (read this one! :)
• Operating System dependent configuration with autoconf.
• Fixes the two currently known ways to create a desync (and HACK wallops).
• Fixes the 100% cpu spikes when using poll().
• Support for memory leak detection (counts pending allocations as function of their location in the source, allows to specify a time interval).
• Fixes a memory leak in userload.c.
• Fixes the problem of 'invisible' users on large channels (>250) reported for some clients.
• Fixes a problem where channels end up with MAGIC_REMOTE_JOIN_TS.
• A ban and a silence on IP-number now also work on resolved hosts.
• Automatically removes overlapping silence masks.
• Fixes the 'invisible join' on net.junction reported for some clients.
• Handles numeric collisions of server a lot more clean and clear.
• Allows a nickname as server target for remote queries (will sent the query to the server of this nick).
• New /WHO command which allows to specify a format.
• New command: USERIP, as USERHOST but returns IP-number.
• New sprintf which is 7 times faster then the libc one (released under GPL).
• Major speed up of the whowas code (speeds up net.break processing).
• I: lines that only match the IP-number field still show the client with FQDN now.
• Always adds G-lines, independent of current K-lines.
• Bug fix of duping listening sockets (which would freeze a listening port).
• Several fixes that give Local Ops more local rights (like using /TRACE).
